Lok Virsa screens ‘Jinnah’ movie to educate youngsters

Islamabad—Lok Virsa’s Mandwa Film Club on Saturday screened film ‘Jinnah’ to educate the younger generation about the struggle for creation of Pakistan and pay tribute to the Founder of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The movie was screened as part of the Lok Virsa’s week-long activities to mark the 70th Independence Day.
The movie with its strong theme and picturization entertained the youth who came from different areas and walks of life to watch the movie.
‘Jinnah’ is a 1998 epic biographical film which follows the life of the Founder of the Nation. It was directed by Jamil Dehlavi and written by Akbar S. Ahmed and Jamil Dehlavi.
Talking to APP, Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr. Fauzia Saeed said the purpose of screening ‘Jinnah’ movie was to educate the younger generation about the struggle of forefathers to acquire a separate homeland.—APP
