LHC orders to de-seal bus stand owned by PTI leader

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Secretary Road Transport Authority (RTA) Faisalabad to de-seal the bus stand of Tamor Travel owned by PTI leader Ali Akhtar Khan immediately and also ordered not to take any action against the bus stand owner which is not warranted under law.
This order has been issued by the Lahore High Court Judge Mr Justice Shahid Waheed on a petition filed by proprietor of Tamor Travel Service whereas the petitioner challenged the validity of the order of Secretary Road Transport Authority Faisalabad whereby he has declined renewal of wagon stand license and de-sealed the same.
The petitioner Ali Akhtar Khan who has happened to be a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Faisalabad while his elder brother former Punjab Minister Zaheer-ud-Din Khan is secretary Punjab Pakistan Muslim League Q contended that action taken by the administration was malafide and taken due to political pressure and victimization.—INP
