Islamabad—The laptop distribution ceremony for National University of Modern Languages (NUML) students under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, phase-II, was held here on Monday. Rector NUML Major General Zia Ud Din Najam (Retd) was the chief guest on the occassion while Director Administration NUML Brig (r) Zia ul Hassan Sahi, Registrar, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments and large number of students were also present. Chief Guest Rector NUML Zia ud Din Najam in his speech termed that it was great initiative of the government to give laptops to the students. He said that we were lacking behind in information technology sector as compared with the rest of the world and it was duty of our youth to take advantages of the facilities provided by the government. Rector said that the youth was the real asset of the country and future of Pakistan lied in the hands of young generation as today’s youth would lead the country in future.
