Landhi traders, scholars urge religious harmony, proper cleanliness

Karachi—Religious scholars from various schools of thought, traders and small Patharaydar of Babar Market here have urged for maintaining religious harmony for maintenance of peace and brotherhood during month of Muharram.
In a statement here Saturday, the General Secretary of Alamgeer Jama Masjid Saeed Sabbari, General Secretary of Hussainian Imam Bargah Trust Zafar Abbas, General Secretary Anjuman-e-Tajran Babar Market Syed Rashid Ali Shah, former President of Babar Market Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah, President Pathraydar Association Muhammad Saleem and others have said that as main Muharram mourning procession is taken out from Babar Market, therefore it is the responsibility of the local administration to esnure repair of street lights, patch-work of damaged 12000 Road and replacement of damaged sewerage lines.
These arrangements, the were of the view will help in maintenance of peace and security in the area during Muharram.
