KMC installs 3 large screens for cricket fans

Staff Reporter

Karachi—On the directives of Sindh governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s (KMC) Administartor Roshan Ali Shaikh has installed large LCDs for the fans of Cricket in Karachi so that they could enjoy the traditionally hot contest between India and Pakistan.
For this reason, The KMC has installed three large screens on three different locations in Karachi of which one large screen has been installed at the Bagh Ibn-e Qasim in Clifton near Boating Basin while two large screens have been installed at Karachi’s Safari Park in Gulshan-e Iqbal and KMC Sports Complex. However, these speial arrangements for the fans of Cricket could not bear fruits because of suspicion of the electricity supply. The Karachi Electric did not stop shedding load and maintained the load shedding schedule in the city. This was a major disappointment to the Cricket fans in Karachi.
A large number of youth, men and women specially families had reached these three sites for watching the India versus Pakistan Cricket Match under T-20 World Cup-2016.
