“Kings of Corruption” burden on nation, democracy: Ch. Sarwar

LAHORE, Nov 17 (INP): Member of core committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the “Kings of Corruption” have become burden on nation and democracy.

Addressing a delegation of PTI workers who called on him here on Friday, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the people who abuse democracy, constitution and national institution are enemies of nation and country and the nation will not forgive them.

He alleged that Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) doesn’t want to be held accountable for their looting and money laundering, but they’ve left with no other option now. He said that PTI has made new history by fighting against the corruption.

The PTI leader said that corruption is the biggest problem of the country and root cause of all national problems. Whenever corrupt people are held accountable, they start abusing the national institutions which is not in the national interest of country and nation, he added.

He said that the PML-N must give answer of their corruption instead of launching assaults on the national institutions. Courts will acquit them if they are innocent otherwise prison is the fate of corrupt people, he stated.

Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar demanded the strict penal liability for the corrupt people and called on the institutions to place lifetime disqualification ban on corrupt people. He said that such people must be made example for the other people so that no one will dare to loot the national exchequer.
