Woman detained for killing paramour’s 65-year-old father

The Badiana police have arrested an alleged killer from near Islamabad after 11 years. District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Abid Khan said that Faisalabad-based Shakeel Shah had allegedly shot dead five persons of a family including a woman over an old enmity in Badiana area of Pasrur tehsil on March 23, 2006 and fled the scene.
On getting information, a police party raided a place in the outskirts of Islamabad and arrested Shakeel. He was also wanted in several other cases of extortion and kidnapping. The DPO announced cash prizes and appreciation certificates for the raid party members.
The police have traced out a blind murder case of a local old man and arrested his neighbor woman for killing him. Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Abid Khan told the media that the accused Rashida Bibi had confessed to kill her neighbor old man Muhammad Ameen (65) after poisoning him to death two months ago.
She killed the old man as she considered him a hurdle in the way of her marriage with his young son, the DPO said. Police have registered a case against her, APP reported.
Meanwhile, our Correspondent from Sialkot Faisal Khawer Butt reported that police have identified a blindly murdered unidentified man whose body was found on 1st February 2017 under the limits of the Badiana police station. The police sources on Sunday told that the deceased was identified as Sheron Pervez son of Pervez Bhatti, a Christian and a resident of Gujranwala.
The police told that the deceased had developed friendship with a Christian woman namely, Nayla, who was a resident of Sambrial, on ‘face book’. It is also told that the deceased went to see his friend and got murdered. It is told that body of the deceased had been handed over to his family and the investigation have been started a fresh.
It is told that Nayla, who is currently abroad, could be the main suspect and she would be brought back, if her involvement was proved It is also reported that a woman was killed on Sunday in the collision between bus and rickshaw at Sialkot-Uggoki road, under the limits of Uggoki police station. It is told that Shamim Bibi w/o Gul Nawaz (50), who was riding in a rickshaw which had collision with a bus, sustained fatal injuries and was shifted to a local hospital where she expired. Police have started investigations.
