Larkana—Senior Education Minister, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro on Wednesday, visited Begum Nusrat Bhutoo Women Library, Government (Girls) Degree College and other development projects being carried out in the city to ease out the increasing traffic flow.
During the visit to Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women Library and Multipurpose Hall, the Minister was informed that 90 percent work on the project had been completed at the cost of Rs. over 100 million. The Minister hoped that the project would go a long way providing best opportunities to women such as female teachers and students in their academic and research pursuits.
Earlier he visited the Government Degree College (Girls), Principal briefed provincial minister about the academic activities and achievements of college, apprising that number of female students had increased as compare to previous record, 10 additional class rooms were being constructed at the cost of Rs. 38.208 million under the current annual development plan and it would be completed by June next.
The Minster later on inspected road widening work along the Rice Canal which is being completed to ease out increased flow of traffic in the city; 3- kilo meters long road is being constructed by the Provincial Government.
