Khyber Agency—The political party leaders and elders of Khuga Khel tribe have asked the authorities not to snatch bread from the tribesmen by occupying their property and business at Torkham illegally.
In a joint press conference the vice president of FATA political alliance and JUI-F Khyber Agency ameer Mufti Muhammad Ijaz Shinwari said that National Logistic Cell (NLC) was taking up the business and property of Khuga Khel tribe at Torkham illegally which would cause the unemployment of thousands locals.
He condemned the illegal occupation of Khuga Khel tribe personal property at Torkham by NLC officials. He said they would soon launch a “Public movement” and would hold a peaceful protest against the unlawful occupation of their land at Torkham.
“It is the right of Khuga Khel tribe to hold peaceful protest for their rights and genuine demands” Mufti remarked adding that NLC officials were violating the written agreement with Khuga Khel tribe.
They said the elders, youth and political party leaders would hold a peaceful protest on Monday against the illegal occupation of their land.
