Khattak orders security during SSC exams

Peshawar—The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed for ensuring security at all examination centres during the upcoming SSC annual examination 2016, ordering for chalking out strategy to stop cheating and warning to take action against the elements found involved in unfair means.
He was presiding over a high level meeting at CM Secretariat Peshawar. Besides Provincial Minister for Elementary & Secondary Education Mohammad Atif Khan, the Secretary E&SE, IGP, Chairman Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education and other concerned authorities attended the meet-ing.
The meeting was told that 2307 examination centers under the eight boards of Khyber Pakhtunk-hwa had been established while about 0.8 million candidates would appear in examination. The Chief Minister on this occasion directed to finalize secu-rity arrangements for examination centers with the consultation of Regional Police Officers, District Police Officers and Chairman’s of the respective boards.
He also directed the district administration to inspect examination centers so that no problem could be faced during the examination. He directed the IGP to order all respective SHOs to ensure presence of security officials at all the examination centers.
