Kashmiris freedom goal is not far off: Nadeem

Islamabad—Dr. Nadeem Shafiq Malik, Chairman of National Council of Social Welfare, on Wednesday said that due to unity and sacrifices of Kashmiris, the destination of freedom is not far off and every Pakistani fully supports the freedom movement and condemns the Indian aggression in Kashmir.
He was addressing a workshop titled “Indian atrocities in Kashmir & its Social impacts” conducted by National Council of Social Welfare here.
Athar Masood Wani, a prominent Kashmiri intellectual delivered a lecture on the historical background of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and current situation alongwith its social impact on the people. He further said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif presented the voice of Kashmiris for freedom in the United Nations General Assembly and urged the UN to resolve the Kashmir issue as Kashmiris are peacefully struggling for their right of self-determination to decide their fate.
The Prime Minister has also highlighted the ever increasing human rights violations in Kashmir by the Indian security forces. The participants at the end adopted a protest resolution and condemning the violations of human rights in Jammu & Kashmir, urged the UN to send a fact finding mission for investigation of the Indian forces crimes against the innocent Kashmiris according, to International Law.
They further demanded that the UN resolutions on Kashmir should be implemented to decide the fate of Kashmiris. They also offered Fateha for the martyrs.
