Kashmir forum rejects non-state politics in AJK

Mirpur (Ajk)—Expressing optimism over the increased influence in the power politics of Azad Jammu & Kashmir on the part of various national political parties of Pakistan, Jammu & Kashmir Intellectual Forum, a non-political entity, here Saturday strongly emphasized that it could result in harming the sanctity of the sensitive status of the Jammu & Kashmir State in general and the deep-rooted love-full relationship of the people of Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan at this crucial juncture of the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement and the Kashmir problem.
The Executive Council of the Jammu & Kashmir Intellectual Forum expressed these views in its quarterly meeting held in Mirpur on Saturday under the president-ship of its Chairman Justice (Retd) Abdul Majeed Mallick, former Chief Justice of Azad Jammu & Kashmir High Court in his office chamber to discuss the current regional, national and global affairs in the backdrop of the Kashmir conflict besides the internal political affairs of AJK.
Speaking on this occasion, Chairman of the J & K Intellectual Forum Justice (Retd) Abdul Majeed Mallick said that latest political developments in AJK envisaging induction of various political parties of Pakistan in Azad Jammu & Kashmir on the pattern of induction of Indian political parties in Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir have raised serious fears and apprehensions that bilateral understanding, in disguised manner, Pakistan and India were discreetly moving towards the division of the Jammu & Kashmir state, he observed.
