Karachi outplays Multan in Pepsi-PCB U-16 Tourney

Karachi—Karachi Region defeated Multan by 8 runs on the 1st day of 2nd-day in Pepsi-PCB U-16 Inter-Regional Tournament.
The tournament was organized by PCB with Collaboration of Pepsi at State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Grounds on Thursday.
Multan Regions won the toss, batted first and were all out for 125 runs.
Basit Ali scored 33 runs with 4 fours and Qamar Riaz 22 runs with 3 fours.
Leg-Spinner Arish Ali took 3 wickets for 42 runs, Muhammad Taha 3 wickets for 21 runs and Wasim 2 wickets for 5 runs.
Karachi Regions, in reply, scored 133 with 5 wickets in 36 overs.
A nice all-round performance by Hassan Jaffari paved the way for Karachi Regions for victory by 8 runs. He made 43 runs with 7 fours.
Muhammad Taha scored 33 runs with 4 fours.
Meanwhile, Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) Zone-III is taking lead by getting the highest points of 23 in the 6th round of PCB Regional Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Championship (Karachi Regions) organized at various grounds. The championship was organized by KCCA in collaboration with PCB.
The points table after 6th round revealed these details on Thursday. KCCA Zone-VI stood at second position by getting 19 points while KCCA Zone-II at 3rd position with 18 points. KCCA Zone-V got 16 points, KCCA Zone-I 15 points and KCCA Zone-IV 05 points.—APP
