JUI-F wants peace in world: Fazl

Central Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said the JUIF is a peaceful party and want establishment of peace not only in Pakistan but in the entire world. He said this while addressing the centennial congregation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF) at Azakhel Nowshera on Saturday.
JUIF Chief said he represented not a party or creed but all of the Muslim Ummah adding the system of peace which is under discussion at international level was proposed by Sheikhul Hind Hazrat Maulana Mehmood Hassan a century ago.
He said we would continue the mission of our great leaders who gave manifesto of peace to the world nations. He said we want peace not only in the region but across the globe. He said we would disseminate messages for the unity among the Muslim Ummah as JUIF is a party that always raised voice for peace and serenity in the world.
Meanwhile, leader of the opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah Saturday said that Islam is the religion of peace and encompasses each and every aspect of life giving solutions to all our problems.
He said this while addressing the centennial congregation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF) at Azakhel Nowshera on Saturday. Syed Khurshid Shah said that our country came into being on the name of Islam, our constitution is Islamic and we should together uphold norms of Islam adding political parties are playing their due role to strengthen Islam.
He said that the Muslims that are facing difficulties should unite to overcome difficulties and to foil designs of enemies. He said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto played a vital role to bring Muslim Ummah on a single platform and it is the responsibility of every Muslim to play his role for strengthening Islam.
Khurshid Shah lauded the endeavors of JUIF to arrange centennial congregation saying it would send a peace message and project positive image of the country in the world.—APP
