Josh paid tributes on death anniversary

Islamabad—Scholars on Monday paid tributes to literary services of Josh Malihabadi on the eve of his 34th death anniversary.
An event was organized by Josh Adbi Foundation in collaboration with Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) here. Renowned scholar and poet, Chairman Pakistan Television (PTV) Ata ul Haq Qasmi was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the participants, he said that literary community should play its due role in defeating the enemies of the country.

Qasmi urged Capital Development Authority (CDA) to name a road after Josh Malih Abadi in the federal capital in order to acknowledge his literary work, adding that a letter would be written to Chairman CDA in this regard. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim Bughio, Chairman PAL highlighted salient features of the literary work of Josh.—APP
