JKLF-R condemns raids on party chairman’s residence

Srinagar

In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R (JKLF-R) has strongly condemned the raids on the residence of its illegally detained chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar.
Chief Patron of JKLF-R, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo and Advocate Ayoub Rathor in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the authorities on one pretext or the other are harassing and intimidating the families of leadership.
They said that on September 04, a team of the Enforcement Directorate raided the residence of its chairman in Hazratbal and harassed inmates.
They said that his wife had left for meeting her husband lodged in Tihar and meanwhile the ED sleuths raided his in-laws where his family is putting in. They harassed his five-year-old daughter and elderly mother-in-law.
It is pertinent to mention here that Farooq Ahmed Dar has no house of his own and is still putting up at his in-laws place in Hazratbal.
They also condemned the killing of TeH activist, Hakeem-ur-Rehman and Asif Nazir Dar by unknown hands.—KMS
