Jhagra launches Spring Tree Plantation

Pehsawar—Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra formally launched Spring Tree Plantation campaign in FATA by planting a saplings of Chirr at Governor’s House, Peshawar Wednesday.
Besides, Additional Chief Secretary, FATA, Mohammad Aslam Kamboh, Principal Secretary to Governor, Sikandar Qayum, Secretary Social Sector Development, Waqar ul Hassan, Conservator of Forest, FATA, Sher Nawaz khan, senior officials of the FATA Forest Department and others were also present on this occasion.
The Governor was told on this occasion that around 4.1 million saplings of different kinds have been planned to be planted throughout FATA out of which 3.7 million will be planted by the FATA department itself. While the rest of the 0.4 million have been envisaged to be planted through other various nation building departments and organizations, besides the personnel of security forces, students of educational institutions and the public at large.
