Jaundiced minds find it difficult to digest economic uplift: Dar

Islamabad—Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar has said that some sick minded people find it difficult to digest the economic achievements of the Government during the last three years.
He was speaking at an MoU signing ceremony in Islamabad today between State Bank and Customs Department about issuance of electronic forms for imports.
The Minister said these gains would benefit our next generations and the world too is acknowledging Pakistan’s performance in economy. Ishaq Dar said completion of the IMF program is a testimony of successful implementation of the reforms program by the present Government.
He said we succeeded as the IMF program was home grown based on election manifesto of PML(N). He said three years back Pakistan had foreign exchange reserves to cover just a few days of exports but now we have enough reserves to take care of imports worth four and a half month. The Finance Minister said now our objective is consolidation of the gains.—SABAH
