IRSA releases 201,800 cusecs water

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) onSunday released 201,800 cusecs water from various rim stations withinflow of 161,100 cusecs.
According to the data released by the IRSA, the water level in IndusRiver at Tarbela Dam stood at 1547.36 feet, and was 149.36 feet higherthan its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the damwas recorded as 96,700 cusecs and 110,000 cusecs, respectively.

The water level in Jhelum River at Mangla Dam stood at 1230.85 feet,which was 180.85 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. Theinflow and outflow of water was recorded 10,600 cusecs and 38,000cusecs, respectively.—NNI
