Iran to provide fuel testing lab to Sri Lanka

Colombo—The Iranian government has agreed to provide a fully equipped petroleum fuel testing laboratory facility to Sri Lanka.
This was revealed at a meeting between Sri Lanka Science Technology and Research minister Susil Premajayantha and the Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mohammed Zaeri Amirani at the ministry to further strengthen the bilateral relations especially in the field of scientific research.
Minister Premachandra said the laboratory would be established at Industrial Technology Institute under the ministry.
With the new Laboratory facility , it was expected to improve the quality of the petroleum fuel and other related products in the country, he said.
