In occupied Kashmir, intense clashes erupted between students and Indian forces in Magam town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, today.
The students of Government Higher Secondary School Magam came out of their classes and staged a protest inside the school premises. They raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
Forces used teargas against the protesting students after they tried to march into the streets, triggering clashes. Following the clashes, shopkeepers downed their shutters while traffic movement was suspended on Srinagar-Gulmarg highway. Many students were injured in forces’ action.
