Balochistan Assembly passes resolution against Indian aggression
Quetta—The lawmakers in the session of Balochistan Assembly unanimously passed a resolution condemning Indian atrocities and aggression.
The Assembly session was held with Chairman of the Penal Agha Liaqat Ali in Chair. Women member of provincial assembly including Hassan Banu Rakhshani, Samina Khan, Kishor Ahmed Jatak, Dr. Ruqayya Saeed Hashimi and Reht Jamali tabled a resolution condemning Indian atrocities and aggression. They said that all political parties and nation stood with Pakistan Army against India if it committed mistake of attacking Pakistan. They also strongly condemned Indian Prime Minister Nerander Modi for hurling threats at Pakistan. The politicians of mainstream KP political parties Friday strongly condemned the unprovoked firing of Indian forces on the Line of Control (LoC) and declared it a failed attempt of Modi Government to divert attention of international community from the brutalities, extra judicial killing and human rights violations being committed by the Indian forces in the occupied Kashmir. They said the whole Pakistani nation was stood by our valiant armed forces for the defense of motherland and would give “matching reply to the aggressors if war was imposed on us.” Strongly condemning the unprovoked firing of Indian forces at LoC, Rahimdad Khan said Modi Government was suffering from war hysteria and has put the peace of entire region into danger.
He said that India would be given befitting reply in case of any surgical strike on our soil and the whole responsibility would be on Modi Government if regional peace has been worsened. He said Modi Government could not stop Pakistan from pleading the case of Kashmiris at all the international forums through such cowardly acts.
The PPP leader said that India was continuously violating the LoC and Pakistan would not remain silent over it. He said peace in South Asia cannot be achieved unless and until the core issue of Kashmir was addressed under the UN Security Council resolutions. Sardar Aurganzaib Nalota, PMLN Parliamentary Leader in Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly also strongly condemned the unprovoked firing of Indian forces on LoC and termed it serious violations of international laws and ceasefire agreements. He said people even in India were laughing at Modi Government’s false claims of surgical strike inside Pakistan territory after it was rejected by our government.
He said that Pakistan wanted peace with all neighbours and this desire should not be considered as weakness. He said any such aggression on part of India will not go unanswered or unpunished in future. He said that India was trying to disturb regional peace through such unprovoked firing incidents, saying Pakistan’s armed forces are fully equipped to give befitting reply to any aggression.
Noorul Haq, Vice Ameer Jumaat e Islami Khyber Pakthunkhwa warned India to refrain from any misadventure, saying 120 million people of Pakistan were ready to defend their country against any aggression.
He said that Pakistani nation would not desist from offering sacrifices for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and defense of their motherland and would fight shoulder to shoulder with our valiant security forces for protection of the country.
The JI leader said that India has lost war and should stop victimization of innocent Kashmiri people, adding the people of Pakistan are on the same page with its security forces to defend the country. Noorul Haq said any wrong decision and misadventurism on part of India would lead to its dismemberment. JUI-F Information Secretary KP Jalil Jan also strongly condemned the unprovoked firing of Indian forces on LoC and said that India would be given befitting reply in case of a surgical strike on our country’s soil. He said if war was imposed on us, India would face dire consequences. He said Pak armed forces were fully prepared to take up any challenge and would effectively respond to any external aggression. The JUI-F leader said such aggressive attempts on part of New Delhi was tantamount to provocation and if continued, it would attract befitting response. He paid glowing tributes to Pakistani soldiers who embraced Shahadat on LoC, saying their sacrifices would not go waste.—APP
