Indian troopers martyr one more Kupwara youth
Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that the assertions made by Bharatiya Janata Party members of so-called Kashmir Assembly about aerial strikes in Azad Kashmir have exposed the real designs of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh against Pakistan.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, Tuesday said that the RSS fanatics were only interested in land, and had nothing to with the life and property of the Kashmiris. The Hurriyet warned that since Pakistan was also a nuclear country so such threats could ignite a nuclear war, which would destroy the peace of entire South Asian region. The APHC urged the world to facilitate settlement of the Kashmir dispute, which was the root cause of tension in the region.
The APHC Secretary General, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar pointed out that India through its provocative actions was endangering the peaceful atmosphere in South Asia.
The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a joint statement issued in Srinagar, today, denounced arrests and intimidations of youth by Indian police in Srinagar, Kupwara, Islamabad and other areas of the territory. They demanded release of all illegal detainees before Eidul Fiftr.
Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one youth in Kupwara district, today. The troops killed the youth identified as Sameer Ahmad during a siege and search operation at Nagri in Drugmulla area of the district. The killing led to forceful anti-India protest demonstrations in Sopore. The angry protesters also set ablaze a police vehicle in the area. The people carrying the body of martyred youth marched on the streets of Sopore.—KMS
