India snatching Kashmiris’ land under different garbs

Troops martyr two youth in occupied Kashmir

Srinagar—Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today.
The troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation in Malwari Newa area of the district. Several people were injured when Indian police used brute force and fired pellets on protest demonstrations against the killings in the area.
People staged forceful anti-India demonstrations in Islamabad town on the sixth martyrdom anniversary of three teenagers killed by Indian police in Anchidora area during 2010 uprising. The protesters were carrying placards and shouting pro-freedom slogans. The leaders and activists of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet, Democratic Freedom Party and Muslim League visited the families of the martyred youth and expressed solidarity with them.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyet General Secretary Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai addressing a meeting in Badgam said that under a well-hatched conspiracy India was snatching land form the Kashmiris for establishment of railway lines, army camps, colonies for Pandits and Indian soldiers and so-called Industrial Policy.
Eid gifts were distributed among hundreds of parents, children and wives of martyrs, political detainees and disappeared Kashmiris during a function organized by the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt, in Srinagar, today.
Meanwhile, Indian troops barged into the houses and subjected inmates to torture at Kulpora in Kulgam district. The troops also smashed windowpanes of two mosques in the village.
Hurriyet leaders in their statements appealed to the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, to take cognizance of brazen and irresponsible assertions made by the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party against Pakistan.—KMS
