Imran’s early elections’ demand termed illogical

The politicians of mainstream political parties here on Monday termed the Imran Khan’s demand of holding early elections, was irrational and unjustified in the prevailing situation in the country. PML-N Parliamentary leader in KP, Sardar Aurangzaib Nalota talking to APP said that the country was passing through a difficult time with numerous challenges on internal and external fronts and can not afford early elections in this situation.
The continuity of democratic system and policies was imperative for addressing country’s problems besides increasing pace of economic development. “I assure the people that general elections would be held on time and PML-N government would complete its tenure of five years what may come,” he said. He said PML-N was a popular political party with strong roots in masses.—APP
