Imran claim for Zardari, Nawaz friendship baseless: Shah


MITHI : Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has said that PTI chief Imran Khan claims of friendship between PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N chief Nawaz Shairf was baseless.

Talking to media persons here on Monday, he said that there was no truth in Imran claims of contact or friendship between Zardari and Nawaz.

Shah said that PPP would get its presence felt across the country in next elections.

He said that there was substance in Zardari’s stance of resigning from assemblies, adding that Bilawal wanted the assemblies to complete tenure. Regarding former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Shah said that Nawaz Sharif had not given any importance to Parliament so parliament would not save him this time.

He added that the former PM had himself blocked ways for him. Shah recalled that they had urged Nawaz to solve all the problems including Panamagate in Parliament but he did not give any weight to the house. Regarding Trump policy of shifting US embassy to Jerusalem, Shah said that the whole Muslim Ummah needed to be united against the US move. He accused the US President of toeing an agenda of instigating religious war.

He added that due to Trump policies, the whole world was getting effected.
