Implementation of building by laws provides safeguard: Ansar


Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Sheikh Anser Aziz Wednesday said that implementation of Building by-laws and relevant regulations not only provide safeguard and reduce risks but also give symmetry and beauty to buildings.
Islamabad is only city of country which has been developed according to a well developed master plan and in accordance with proper zoning regulations. Incumbent management has revitalized Building Control Section (BCS) Directorate and also established another Directorate of BCS to ensure true implementation of zoning regulations. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting held at CDA Headquarters here. The meeting reviewed monthly progress of Building Control Directorate.
On the occasion, Mayor was apprised that Building Control Section (BCS) of Capital Development Authority (CDA) issued 88 building plans approvals, 35 completion certificates and approvals 88 cases of NOCs / commercialization charges / additional charges during the month of November, 2017. Building Control Section received Rs.16 million as fee for above mentioned heads during month of November. The meeting was further briefed that BCS-I Section approved 15 cases approval of building plans during the month. —APP
