Karachi—The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, on Wednesday visited the Karachi Bar Association.
He met the office bearers of the Association including the President and Secretary who apprised him of their problems.
The IGP directed the police officers concerned for the resolution of the problems.
He directed that while reviewing the SPOs pertaining to the security of judges, courts and their offices and in consultation with the office bearers and members of the Bar, the overall security be made extraordinary.
The IGP said that the Sindh Government has been approached for enhancing the resources so that security measures could be made more effective.
He condemned the attacks of the terrorists on the personnel of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and said that war against terror would continue till the elimination of terrorism.
The IGP praised the commitment and bravery of the personnel of the LEAs for the maintenance of law and order and protection of life and property of the people.
