IGP seeks people’s assistance in crackdown on crimes


Karachi—The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, has sought the assistance of the peace-loving citizens in the drive against crimes.
In a statement on Saturday, he asked them to keep an eye on activities of any suspects in their areas and immediately inform police regarding any suspicious activity, abandoned vehicle or motorcycle, bag or parcel.
He also asked the people that in case of any forcible receipt of ‘Fitra’, ‘Zakat’, or chits for ‘Bhatta’ (Extortion), inform this to Madadgar 15, nearest police station, DIG CIA, SSP CIA, Zonal DIGs, District SSPs.—APP
