ICCI hails MoU with Iran on Strategic Trade Cooperation

Islamabad—Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has welcomed the signing of MoU on Five-Year Strategic Trade Cooperation Plan between Pakistan and Iran during the recent visit of President, Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hassan Rouhani to Pakistan and termed it a highly positive development as it would pave way for promoting bilateral trade between the two countries up to their real potential.
President ICCI Atif Ikram Sheikh said that during the seventh Pakistan-Iran Joint Trade Committee meeting in Tehran in April 2015, both countries had agreed to enhance bilateral trade to $5 billion and hoped that five-year strategic trade cooperation plan would be instrumental in realizing this goal.—INP
