Husband kills wife for not returning haq mehar amount

The police in Haripur have so far failed to arrest the murderers of a newly-wed girl on Thursday who was killed by her husband for not returning Haq Mehar.

The girl’s husband, Shahid, and his family members who nominated in her murder have disappeared from the scene after locking their home.

The newly-wed girl, Imrana, from the Sadar Goliyamira Police Station area, was living with her father after she developed differences with her husband soon after their marriage.
