Dispute over house claimed one life. According to details Ijaz Hussain had purchased a house in Fatuwala, a village situated on suburbs of Phalia. Muhammad Arshad and his brothers also claimed the house as their property but Ijaz refuted their claim.
The other days Ijaz with wife of his brother were present in front of their house. In the meanwhile Arshad with his brothers and other accused armed with fir weapons and sticks appeared on the scene and fired on Ijaz and his sister in law. Both were fatally injured.
They were rushed to THQ Hospital where the doctors referred Ijaz to Lahore hospital but on way he succumbed to injuries. Qadirabad police have registered case against 8 persons and further investigation is in progress.
Meanwhile Additional Sessions Judge court Malakwal awarded death sentence to an accused for his involvement in a murder case the other day. The judgment was announced by Additional Sessions Judge Ijaz Ahmed Buter. The prosecution told the court that accused Zulfiqar alias Qari, resident of Chak 28 along with other accused nominated in the case had gunned down a man Irfan. Miana Gondal Police registered a case against the accused and presented the challan before the court. After hearing the arguments, the judge handed down death sentence to Qari with fine of half million as compensation money.
Two convicts were given life imprisonment with fine of Rs half million each where the four convict was awarded one year imprisonment with fine. In another case of murder the same court awarded life imprisonment to four convicts with fine of Rs half a million each. The convicts during hearing were found guilty of murdering Muhammad Aslam resident of Mamdana in precincts of Miana Gondal police.
