Hotels sealed under anti-dengue drive

Rawalpindi—The District Food Department this month sealed eight hotels for not taking notice of breeding dengue larvae after being warned several times.
District Food Controller, Ijaz Ahmed on Friday told APP that teams under the ongoing drive against dengue larvae sealed eight hotels. An FIR was also registered against one hotel owner for violating anti-dengue regulations.
He said five hotels in Rawal town and three in Potohar town were sealed. He said strict action was being taken against the violators to save the people from dengue mosquitoes.—APP
