Hot weather to parch country with scorching heat in Sindh

The weather forecast for next 24 hours stated mainly hot and dry weather to be expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in Sindh during day time. However, scattered dust-thunderstorm and rain was expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran divisions and Gilgit Baltistan, Met Office said. Dust-thunderstorms and rain was expected at isolated places of the country including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, it added.
The forecast weather pattern was due to continental air prevailing in most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave was affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to intensify on Wednesday. “Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in south Punjab.—APP
