Hot, humid weather to grip most parts

Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours while rain-thundershower with gusty winds are likely at isolated places in Punjab, Khaber Pakhunkhwa, Balochistan and Kashmir. Rainfall is forecast in Punjab at Rawalpindi and Gujranwala, in Khaber Pakhunkhwa at Malakand, Hazara and Mardan, in Balochistan at Zhob divisions and Kashmir during this time span.
Seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan. Weak monsoon currents are reaching upper and central parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP on Friday. In last 24 hours, weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country.
However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Hazara, Hyderabad, Thatta, Quetta, Kalat, Zhob divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
