Hot, humid weather to grip most parts

Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country while rain-thundershower is expected at few places in Malakand division. Seasonal Low lies over Northwest Balochistan. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hour weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower occurred at Parachinar. Rainfall recorded during this time span remained KP: Parachinar 07mm. Maximum temperatures recorded on Tuesday were: Turbat 44°C, Dadu 43°C, Multan 38°C, Faisalabad, Hyderabad 37°C, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Lahore, Peshawar 36°C, Chitral 35°C, Islamabad 34°C, Karachi 33°C, Gilgit 32°C and Murree 24°C.
The Bahawalpur Met Office Tuesday forecast a dry to partly cloudy weather for Bahawalpur during next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature was recorded between 43 to 45 degrees Centigrade on Tuesday. The Met Office has also forecast a dry to partly cloudy weather for other parts of the region during next 24 hours.—APP
