Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours while rain-thunderstorm is likely at a few places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan. A shallow westerly trough is affecting extreme northern parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP. The Bahawalpur Met Office has forecast dry weather for Bahawalpur during next 24 hours.
On Monday, maximum temperature was recorded 38 Degrees Centigrade and lowest minimum temperature was recorded 28 Degrees Centigrade in the city. The Met Office has also forecast dry weather for other parts of the region during next 48 hours. In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country.
Highest temperatures recorded on Monday were Padidan 43°C, Turbat, Dadu, Hyderabad 42°C, Islamabad 33°C, Lahore 35°C, Karachi 37°C, Peshawar 34°C, Quetta 28°C, Gilgit 22°C, Chitral 27°C, Muzaffarabad 30°C, Murree 23°C, Skardu 18°C, Faisalabad 35°C, Multan 36°C and Dir 28.—APP
