Hot dry weather to prevail

Pakistan Meterological Department (PMD) Thursday forcast mainly hot and dry weather to persists in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi during next 24 hours. According to an official of PMD Muhammad Ayaz said, “Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.”
He said continental air would prevail over most part of the country. A shallow westerly trough persist over extreme north of Pakistan he added. Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country however, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand division and Gilgit Baltistan.
Highest maximum temperatures were recorded Noorpurthal, Nokkundi 41øC, Mithi, Sibbi 40øC. The Bahawalpur Met Office has forecast a dry weather for Bahawalpur and adjoining areas during next 24 hours. On Thursday, highest maximum temperature 40 Centigrade and lower minimum 28 Centigrade were recorded. Dry weather has been forecast for rest of the region during next 24 hours.—APP
