Hot, dry weather to prevail

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at a few places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: Islamabad twenty-three centigrade, Lahore twenty-four, Karachi twenty-seven, Peshawar twenty-five, Quetta thirteen, Gilgit fourteen, Muzaffarabad twenty and Murree fifteen degree centigrade.
Meanwhile, the Multan Met office has forecast hot and dry weather for city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 37.1 degree centigrade and 26.5 degree centigrade respectively. The humidity was recorded 73 per cent at 8 am and 43 per cent at 5 pm.—INP
