Hot, dry weather likely

Islamabad—Hot and dry weather is expected to continue in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Saturday remained Nokkundi, Noorpur Thal 41øC, Dalbandin, Larkana, Rohri , Turbat, Sukkur, Bhakkar 40øC, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar 37øC, Hyderabad 36øC, Quetta, Chitral, Islamabad 35øC, Muzaffarabad 34øC, Karachi 33øC, Gilgit, Dir 32øC, Kalat 29øC, Skardu 27øC, Hunza 25øC and Murree 24øC. Meanwhile, the Multan Met office has forecast dry weather for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 36.3 degrees centigrade and 27.3 degrees centigrade, respectively.
Humidity was recorded 78 per cent at 8 am and 55 per cent at 5 pm. While, the Karachi Met Office on Saturday forecast partly cloudy weather in the metropolis during the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range between 32 and 34 degree centigrade with 60 to 70 per cent humidity.—APP
