Hot, dry weather in most parts of country likely

Islamabad—Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours. Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas.A westerly wave is still affecting northern areas of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours, an official of Met Office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained Hot and dry in most parts of the country. However rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Lahore, Gujranwala, Quetta, Kalat Divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Meanwhile, the Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours. On Thursday, the maximum temperature 36 centigrade and the lowest minimum 20 centigrade were recorded. The dry weather has also been forecast for rest of the region. While, the Karachi Met Office on Thursday forecast partly cloudy weather in the metropolis during the next 24 hours.
It said the maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range between 34 to 36 degrees centigrade, with 55 to 65 per cent humidity.
The weather report said that mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over the province during the next 24 hours.—APP
