Hot, dry weather to grip most past of country

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most part of the country during next 24 hours. Weak seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP on Sunday.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However rain-thunderstorm occurred at few places in Malakand, Kohat, Mirpurkhas division and GB. Rainfall recorded during this time span was KP: Pattan 06mm, Kohat 01mm, Gilgit-Baltistan: Gubis 01mm, Skardu 01mm and Sindh: Mithi 01mm.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Sunday were Turbat 43 øC, Dadu, Padidan41øC, Islamabad 34øC, Lahore 36øC, Karachi 36øC, Peshawar 35øC, Quetta 30øC, Gilgit 26øC, Chitral 30øC, Muzaffarabad 32øC, Murree 23øC, Skardu 23øC, Faisalabad 35øC, Multan 36øC, Hyderbad 38øC and Dir 30øC.—APP
