Hot, dry weather to continue

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly wave is likely to enter northern parts and its adjoining areas of the country on Thursday (evening/night), an official of Met office told APP. The Multan Met office has forecast dry weather for city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Tuesday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 36 degree centigrade and 20.7 degree centigrade respectively. The humidity was recorded 82 per cent at 8 am and 30 per cent at 5 pm. In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. Maximum temperatures recorded on Tuesday were Turbat 42°C, Lasbella, Mithi 41°C, Islamabad 33°C, Lahore 35, Karachi 36°C, Peshawar 34°C, Quetta 28°C, Gilgit 26°C, Chitral 27°C, Muzaffarabad 32°C, Murree 23°C, Skardu 20°C, Faisalabad 35°C, Multan 36°C, Hyderbad 39°C, Dir 29°C.—APP
