Recently the Oxfam International announced that Pakistan is one of the largest hosts for the refugees globally. According to it Pakistan, Turkey, South Africa, Lebanon and Jordan host more than 50 percent of the refugees. These countries are having less than two percent of world’s economy.
On the other side the developed countries are hosting less than 9 percent of the refugees, in spite of having more than 50 percent world’s economy. It appears that mostly the refugees are present in developing and undeveloped countries and they have taken the responsibility of the refugees. It is really a great work done by the undeveloped and developing countries to help refugees, while those so-called champions of human rights in practice lag behind.
