Hesco terminates 6 employees for corruption

Nawabshah—Six employees of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) were terminated from service on alleged charges of corruption and extortion. This was disclosed by Superintending Engineer HESCO Farooq Ahmed Awan.
Talking to media here on Saturday he said that six employees including three officials of HESCO were terminated from service following the accountability process started in the department. He said that Line Superintendents Manzoor Ahmed Channa, Altaf Soomro and Irfan Jamali were terminated from service, while two meter readers of Daur Sub Division Altaf Hussain Chohan and Aiz Ahmed Brohi were also removed from service on the charges of misconduct and corruption.—APP
