HEC, MUST social sciences conference

Mirpur (Ajk)—In order to highlight the importance of social sciences in line with the modern age, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the State-run Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST) are jointly hosting the 4th International Conference on Social Sciences at the HEC Auditorium in Islamabad from October 26 – which would continue for two days, it was officially declared.
Disclosing this Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalique, Director MUST Business School and Conference Convener, told reporters here Thursday that at least 24 delegates from various parts of the world have confirmed their participation.
“Over 200 delegates from universities and research organizations from various parts of the world have been registered for participation in the conference”, he said and added that the delegates comprising seasoned academicians of the global repute would read their paper containing their high intellect and pen on the concerned subject.
President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Muhammad Masood Khan will grace the inaugural session of the two-day conference as chief guest on October 26.
Besides, Chairman Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Vice Chancellor MUST Varsity Prof. Dr. Habib ur Rehman (Sitara e Imtiaz) and Chairperson of the Conference and Director General Academics HEC Riaz Ahmed Chohan will also address the inaugural session highlighting the salient features and objectives of holding of the global conference on the social sciences.
