Health facilities being provided to masses: Minister

Punjab Minister for Primary & Secondary Health Kh. Imran Nazir has said that the top priority of the government is to protect the people from the diseases and to create a healthy society in Punjab for which solid steps have being taken at all levels.
He said that after setting up two separate Health Departments special focus is being paid on the prevention of disease programme. Kh. Imran Nazir said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and due to his personal interest, Health Sector in Punjab is tremendously improving due to which quality health services are being provided to the people of Punjab as well as the level of awareness among the masses regarding health is also increased.
He stated this while talking to the media persons on the occasion of Health Awareness Walk from Liberty Chowk to Hussain Chowk Gulberg here on Sunday.
The awareness walk was organized by the Health Department in connection with District Health Conventions which are being celebrated across the province from 2 to 11 December.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Sumair Ahmed Syed, CEO Health Lahore Dr. Yad Ullah, Deputy District Officers, Lady Health Workers, Dengue Staff and a large number of people from the civil society participated in the awareness walk. At the end of the walk, Minister Health Kh. Imran Nazir and DC Lahore Sumair Ahmed Syed addressed the participants of the walk and distributed leaflets among the motor bikers and drivers on the roadside.
