Senior Politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has announced to support Begum Kalsoom Nawaz in the by-election of NA-120 as he was optimistic that she would bag four times more votes than Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Yasmin Rashid because this constituency is pro-Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) people. Addressing a press conference at Multan Press Club on Tuesday, Javed Hashmi said that Kalsoom Nawaz is my sister and my prayers and sympathies are for her. He said that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would never quit PML-N and he would stay with this party however he would continue to express his reservations.
To a question about the differences between the Ch.Nisar Ali Khan and Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the senior politician replied that once they were very close friends. If I were in Muslim League I would surely force to sit on one table. He said that Independence Cup will open gates for international cricket in the country and ICC has announced its plans for a World XI to play in Pakistan later this year are “continuing to be developed”, following the conclusion of its annual meeting in London. Javed Hashmi while criticizing some politicians like Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that such politicians who are running on solar-energy would cease to operate when there would be no energy.
He announced that there would be a separate province in Southern Punjab and its capital would be in Multan which is city of spiritual saints.To a question, he said that there were no differences between Mian brothers because Shahbaz Sharif gives respect to Mian Nawaz Sharif like father. Javed Hashmi reiterated his stance that Parliament should be superior to all institutions like a mother and Judiciary has no right to investigate the cases.
Similarly NAB or FIA should have no judicial powers to decide the cases. He said that Chief Election Commission should take action against Muslim League candidate if the government machinery and funds were being utilized in by-election. He announced to contest general election from NA-149 and said that he can also contest polls from elsewhere because whole Pakistan is his constituency.—INP
