Haripur win All-KP Junior Full-Body Contact Karate title

Peshawar—Haripur clinched the trophy of the 33rd All-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junior Full-Body Contact Karate Championship which concluded here at Qayyum Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Senior Sports Journalist Ijaz Ahmad and former Secretary General KP Karate Association Mansoor Ahmad graced the occasion as guests and gave away the trophies and cash prizes to the position holders players. Chairman KP Full-Body Contact Sahibzada Hadi, Secretary Inayat Ullah, officials, players and spectators were also present.
Peshawar got second position and Mandani, District Charsadda, got third position. In the three different weights a total of 102 players took part in the tournament played on World Karate Organization Japan rules. In the heavy weight category, Hameed Ullah of Nowshera, followed by Ayaz Shabab of Charsadda, and Osama of Nowshera.
In the middle weight Naseer of Haripur got first position, followed by Akhtar of Haripur, Adil of Peshawar took third position. In the Light Weight Syed Agha of Haripur got first position, followed by Zia Ul Haq of Haripur and Mushtaq of Haripur. In the feather weight group Farid Ullah got first position.—APP
