Harassment

Syeda Nida Raza

Harassment is a very common problem faced by female gender especially in public places these days. Actual meaning of harassment is uncomfortable actions shown by strangers, for example like whistling, commenting and pointing fingers etc. Other than Pakistan people who possess different faith, religion or nationality also face harassment. But in Pakistan specifically only ladies face harassment. Women are so powerless in this country that they cannot even raise their voices on such heartless act.
Harassment in public transport is a very common phenomenon and needs to be checked by all means. As a citizen of Pakistan, I request Government of Pakistan to pay attention to this problem and esure a guaranteed and healthy harassment-free environment to the ladies.
